Technical support and service for BIOS modules

BIOS IoT technical support means help with selecting modules, commissioning and integration with your system, as well as the warranty and post-warranty service of the modules. You will find all modules on the Products page.

• Documentation: PDF datasheets – and, for BIOS-IO modules and BIOS-UX-02, CE declarations of conformity – are in the “Downloads” tab on each product page; see Products.
• One point of contact: for technical support and service, write to info@bios-iot.com or call +48 880 366 728.
• Module selection: we help select modules for your machines and prepare a quote.
• Commissioning with our support: we provide full support with commissioning and configuring the BIOS-GSM-01 gateway; the Microsoft Azure IoT Hub service is agreed during deployment.
• Configuration without programming: BIOS-IO modules and the BIOS-UX-02 station are configured in a web browser. BIOS-IO modules can be powered from terminals or by Passive PoE via RJ45.
• Installation without an electrician: the BIOS-CT-01 sensor can be installed by yourself.
• Warranty and service: for BIOS-IO-01/02/03, BIOS-UX-02 and BIOS-CT-01 we provide a 2-year warranty and post-warranty service for 10 years from the date the device is placed on the market.
• IoT System: full support with deploying the gateway, cloud and visualisation – see IoT System.

How to integrate BIOS modules with your system?

• HTTP JSON (BIOS-IO-01, IO-02, IO-03, UX-02): the status of inputs, outputs and buttons is read by Scout MES, another MES, SCADA or your own application over HTTP in JSON format. BIOS-CT-01 passes its signal through a BIOS-IO-01 input.
• Microsoft Azure IoT Hub (BIOS-GSM-01): the gateway sends data from Modbus RTU devices via MQTT (SSL) to Azure IoT Hub. The Azure IoT Hub service can be provided by us, or it can be the customer’s or a partner’s cloud – we agree this during deployment.
• Scout MES: BIOS modules work with the Scout MES machine monitoring system. See Scout MES and welder operation monitoring in Scout MES.
