BIOS IoT – industrial IoT modules: machine signals to your LAN, the cloud and your MES
BIOS IoT is a family of industrial IoT modules: DIN-rail LAN Ethernet input and output modules, a Modbus GSM/LTE gateway, an ANDON push-button station and a welding machine run sensor. The modules collect signals from machines, equipment and workstations and pass them on to your system.

BIOS IoT System – data from machines and Modbus RTU controllers in the cloud
The BIOS IoT System is a ready-made solution from module to visualisation: the BIOS-GSM-01 gateway, the Microsoft Azure cloud and a web visualisation tailored to the customer and their sites. It makes it easy to connect sites, machines and Modbus RTU controllers to the cloud, and we provide full support during deployment.
- BIOS-GSM-01 module The DIN-rail gateway reads data from Modbus RTU (RS485) devices and sends it over the mobile network, including where there is no LAN.
- Microsoft Azure cloud Data goes to Azure IoT Hub via MQTT with SSL encryption; the service can be provided by us, or it can be the customer’s or a partner’s cloud.
- Web visualisation Data from your sites is shown in a browser-based visualisation tailored to the customer and their sites.
- Deployment support We guide you through the whole deployment, from commissioning and configuring the gateway to data in the cloud.

BIOS modules work with the Scout MES system – machine signals, ANDON calls and welder operating time all go to a single monitoring system.
